How old does a child need to be to ride a real bike?
My son is 22 months old. He is extremely kinetic. He loves movement of all kinds. He has a little scooter bike – no pedals and four wheels – that he rides around furiously. I’m considering buying him a 12″ bike, but the sales person told me that he really needs to be at least 3 years old to make use of it.
Does anyone here have experience with toddlers riding real bikes? Is 22 months too young?
