Advice for 18 month old falling out of toddler bed??
My 18 month old has been sleeping in her toddler bed for about a week and a half now and she is doing very well for the most part, but she has fallen out of bed twice when she was asleep. I don’t want to move her back to her crib because she likes the bed and is proud to be sleeping in it and we are going to have a new baby in a month who will need the crib anyway.
I just get worried that she will hurt herself if she falls out of the bed because she is still small. How many times is it normal for them to fall out of bed when they first transition out of the crib and does anyone have advice to keep her from falling out? It has small railings, but they don’t seem to be keeping her in!
My two year old still rolls out of his bed, we just got another mattress that we slide out from under his bed every night. That way when he falls of he just lands on the other mattress and still stays fast asleep.
